Prince Edward arrived in style to open the new £950,000 adventure facilities at Grafham Water sailing centre.

A helicopter carrying the Royal passenger landed nearby, with the Prince welcomed by a number of officials and invited dignitaries.

Following his arrival on Friday, June 1, the Prince was taken on a guided tour around the various activities and new facilities.

He talked to a group of sailing enthusiasts who were with Sailability, a new initiative giving disabled people the opportunity to get out on the water, and to three drenched children who had just finished a class in kayaking.
