Police are appealing for witnesses following a burglary at the home of an elderly man in Kimbolton on July 9.

Two men entered a house on Newtown Lane between 1.45pm and 1.50pm but were confronted by the occupants, an elderly man and his son who is his full time carer.

The would-be thieves then ran off without taking anythin.

One of the men is described as white, in his twenties, 5'10, with medium length brown hair and spoke with a local accent. He was wearing a dark blue sports jacket and blue jeans.

Anyone with information should contact DC Louisa Collett at Huntingdon Police Station on 0845 456 4564 or Crimestoppers, anonymously, on 0800 555 111.
