The old Little Chef building on the A1 southbound between Buckden and Little Paxton was targeted by arsonists at the weekend.

One crew from St Neots and one from Huntingdon were called to the building at about 5pm on Sunday (March 30) and discovered the building heavily smoke logged.

Two firefighters wearing breathing apparatus extinguished the fire using one hose reel, and returned to base just after 6pm.
