Driver dies following accident

June 9: A 66-year-old man from St Neots has died following an accident on the A428 near Little Barford Power Station.
Tom Maguire was taken ill at the wheel of his car and his vehicle left the road and crashed into a ditch.

Paramedics were called to the scene at about 1.05pm and tried for 20 minutes to revive him.

Mr Maguire was described by his family as a "beloved husband", "an extremely loving dad and grandfather".

Mr Maguire's funeral will be held on June 20 at Cambridge Crematorium at 2.15pm.
