The company which ran the Cambourne nursery where a 10-month-old girl choked to death is being prosecuted under health and safety laws.
Georgia Hollick died in hospital, on April 19, 2006, after choking on apple at the Just Learning Nursery, near her home in Cambourne.

The company which ran the nursery - Just Learning Ltd - has been charged with breaching health and safety rules.

South Cambridgeshire District Council is bringing the action following a prolonged investigation.

Just Learning is charged with "failing to have adequate processes and systems in place to protect the health and safety of those not in its employment" between January 31, 2005 and April 20, 2006

The case is due to be transferred to Cambridge Crown Court on September 11.

Just Learning did not submit a plea.

An inquest found the cause of death of the 10-month-old was accidental.
