Four young hopefuls from Huntingdon Olympic Gym Club are jetting off to Beijing after spending the last few weeks in training camps.
Promising young athletes Marissa King, Kayleigh Cooke, Louis Smith and Daniel Keatings have all been selected for Team GB and can't wait to represent their country on the biggest stage in the world.

The club's secretary administrator Erin MacKenzie said: "The club has high hopes for them all. They're very excited, but I don't think the girls know what has hit them yet."

Marrisa and Kayleigh left for China on Tuesday, and the men will join them on Sunday.

Louis is a genuine medal hope as he has already a Commonwealth gold and a World Championship bronze under his belt.

The club is also sending two coaches, giving Huntingdon a strong presence at the games.

Erin said: "It's the big one for British Gymnastics, but also for Huntingdon Olympic Gym Club. They have worked so,so hard and everyone has pulled together for this summer".

Mayor of Huntingdon Saeed Akthar attended their send-off on Monday.

Everyone at the Town Crier would like to wish the four every success in their trip to Beijing.
