Lorry breakdown and accident causes A14 delays

Commuters faced delays on their way to work this morning following two incidents on the A14.
A lorry breakdown and an accident near Fenstanton caused tailbacks to Godmanchester.

The roads have since reopened fully.

May 12, 8:30pm: A lorry breakdown and an accident on the A14 Huntingdon Road, Fenstanton, causing long delays this morning.

The accident on the eastbound carriageway before the Fenstanton junction saw one lane blocked.

Shortly after the lorry break down partially blocked the westbound slip road at the same junction.

Queues stretched back to Godmanchester.

One lane is still restricted on the eastbound carriageway.
