A call for thespians is being made by the St Neots Players to take part in the September production of Arthur Miller's classic tale of the Salem witchcraft trials - The Crucible.
Auditions are taking place at 8.30pm on the Monday, June 2, and Thursday, June 5, and are open to anyone wishing to try their hand on stage. Auditions will be held at the Millennium Community Centre, Buckden.

In particular, the players need a lady of Afro-Caribbean origin to play the key role of Tituba and there are several female roles from 13-years-old and upwards.

That is not to say that male auditionees are not be welcome as there are several major parts to suit.

Ian Francis, publicity officer for the players, said: "I would really encourage anyone who has maybe toyed with the idea of getting up on the stage to give it a try.

"The players are a great group to be associated with and everyone really does give good support to all members."
