A four-day arts and music festival will be taking Huntingdonshire back to the Victorian times when it revives a medieval fair.
The St Neots Ascension Fair is taking place at the St Mary's Parish Church, Church Street, St Neots, from Thursday, May 1, to Sunday, May 4.

The festivities kick off on Thursday night with a free concert – The Festival Eucharist.

The atmosphere changes to one of youthful exuberance on the Friday night with a schools concert - a mixture of vocal and instrumental
performances by pupils from local primary and secondary schools.

Saturday sees a daytime photography exhibition by the St Neots and District Camera Club, followed by an evening concert by The Haffner Wind Ensemble.

The Sunday finale concert is an established favourite, with its Last Night of the Proms atmosphere, and finishing with the Union flag-waving audience singing Land of Hope and Glory.

Every evening event starts at 7.30pm and tickets are available on the door.
