An upbeat show full of nostalgia comes to Huntingdon next week courtesy of some sensational artists.
The show, Unforgettable, is presented by Spun Gold Promotions at the Commemoration Hall next Friday (September 12) at 7.30pm.
Part of a successful national tour, this show is absolutely bursting with every best song, duet and chorus from across the 50s and 60s.
It will bring to the audience musical memories of Nat "King" Cole", Matt Monro, Sinatra, Perry Como, Tom Jones, The Beatles, Elvis, Petula Clarke, Peggy Lee and Sarah Vaughan.

There will be some fun with audience singalongs of Max Bygraves favourites and the best from the Sixties.
There will also be a well known song from The Sound of Music and best loved songs of Ivor Novello.

Songs include, Just in Time, Night and Day, Misty, Around the World, Portrait of my Love, Passing Strangers, Delilah, Alfie, Michelle and, of course, Unforgettable.
The songs will be backed by a beautiful orchestral sound, recreating the magic of the era.
The group of artists bringing all this have a wealth of experience in the musical business.
The group is led by director Simon Gilbert who among many roles was leading man to Ginger Rogers in the musical Mame at London's Drury Lane Theatre.

He was also the singing voice for Peter O'Toole in the film, Man of La Mancha, including that great song The Impossible Dream.
Among the group is Lindsay Benson, who lives locally, who has performed solo at the Royal Opera House and been a lead singer with The Cliff Adams Singers on the radio show Sing Something Simple.

>> Tickets are £9.50 with concessions £8.50 and available from the Card Gallery, Market Square, Huntingdon, or call the hall's box office on 01480 455167.
