St Neots and District Camera Club has teamed up with The Friends of Little Paxton Pits Nature Reserve to organise a photographic competition.
The competition is open to all amateur photographers and is free to enter. All images have to be taken from the public footpaths, trails or hides on the Paxton Pits Nature Reserve, so as to not disturb the plants and wildlife.

The competition has four categories: Birds (land and water); Flora and Fungi; Insects (to include butterflies and moths); Any other photograph taken on the nature reserve. There is a limit of six entries per person, and all entries must be prints (6ins by 4ins). No image can be more than four years old.

The closing date for entries is Friday, April 11.

All entries will be exhibited at the Priory Centre with St Neots and District Camera Club's Annual Photographic Exhibition on Saturday, April 26, from 10am to 4.30pm.
They will also be on display at St Mary's Church in St Neots on May 3 as part of the Ascensiontide events.

Prizes will be awarded in each category. A full list of conditions is available from the Visitors' Centre at Paxton Pits, from the website www.paxton-pits.org.uk or by calling 01480 406795.

>> All prints must be placed in an envelope, with your name and contact details, and put in the appropriate box at the Paxton Pits Visitors Centre or posted to T. Gunton, 15 St James Road, Little Paxton, PE19 6QW.
