Huntingdonshire's favourite touring theatre group are hitting the road with the classic comedy The Government Inspector.
Ocras theatre company has taken the farce, written by Nikolai Gogol in 1836, and put its unique stamp on it, contemporising the play.
This is the sixth year that Ocras has toured some of the area's most idyllic locations and country gardens.

There's great ensemble playing and colourful characters featuring the comic mishaps that befall a group of small town bureaucrats when they mistake a visitor for an
important government official sent from the capital.

Mayor John Fitzgerald, Judge Greedy Snapper, Charity Commissioner Strawberry, cchool cuperintendent Lucy Bustle and the Misses Sophie Sparrow and Sally Starling all do their utmost to impress the man they believe to be the Inspector, George Torrent.

Tickets cost £10 and £8 and each production helps to support a charity or trust.

The show is running at the following venues:
>> (Thursday, July 24) at Buckden Towers at 7.30pm, call 01480 810 344 or 01480 459899.
>> Friday, July 25, Commemoration Hall, High Street, Huntingdon, 7.30pm, call 01480 455167.
>> Sunday, July 27 at Yew Tree Cottage, Brington, at 3pm, call 01832 710186.
>> Thursday, July 31, at Kimbolton Castle at 7.30pm, call 01480 459899.
