Huntingdon Drama Club presents Hay Fever, a classic Noël Coward comedy.
Best described as a cross between a farce and a comedy of manners, the play is set in a country house in the 1920s and tells the story of the four eccentric members of the Bliss family and what happens when they each invite a guest for the weekend.

Because of their outlandish behaviour and total self-absorption, the four rather conventional guests find themselves completely out of their depth, with comic results.

Director Valerie Gerrard said: "Hay Fever is a classic Noël Coward comedy with all the wit and sophistication that he always brought to his plays. It is a real favourite for theatre-goers. It guarantees a fun evening with plenty of drama and laughs."

Hay Fever is being performed at two locations. On Friday July 18 and Saturday, July 19 it is at Brampton Park Theatre, and on Friday, July 25 it is at the BRJ Club, Sallowbush Road, Huntingdon. All performances start at 7.30 pm.

>> Tickets cost £8 (£6 for concessions). Tickets for both venues are available through the website, www.huntingdondramaclub.org.uk

Alternatively, they can be booked for Brampton Park by calling 01480 352911, and for the BRJ Club by calling 01480 420601.
