Two killed in road collision

Two Huntingdonshire residents who died following a head-on car crash have been named.
Anji Read, 33, of Kings Road in Eaton Socon was driving a Honda S200 on the A428 in Bedford when it was involved in a road traffic accident on Thursday (September 4).
The passenger was Lee Joseph, 35, of Roman Way, Godmanchester.
The pair were travelling east away from Bedford and had just passed the Norse Road/A428 roundabout, when their car crossed onto the westbound carriageway and collided with a Vauxhall Fontera.
The collision took place at 8pm.
The pair were both pronounced dead at the scene, with the cause of death for each of them given as multiple injuries.
An inquest has been opened and adjourned for a date to be arranged.
The female driver of the Vauxhall was taken to Bedford Hospital South Wing by ambulance suffering a suspected fractured collar bone.
