Tonight's the night when the Huntingdon Male Voice Choir gives a charity concert in aid of the Town Crier's We Care appeal - and your support is needed.
A wonderful evening of choral music is promised and all the money raised by this nationally-renowned choir will go to the Huntingdon Young Carers.

The charity provides much-needed respite care for children, aged between eight and 19, who care for a parent or family member with long term sickness, disability or abuse alcohol or drugs.

The Town Crier has been running an appeal to raise £10,000 to support these youngsters who provide so much care.

Spokesman for Huntingdon Male Voice Choir Tony Slingsby said: "Huntingdon Young Carers group provides help and advice and a friendly ear in times of trouble.

"Many of the young people have little or no respite from the day to day duties of care, so the group provide the only social outings that the young person may enjoy."

>> The charity concert will take place at Huntingdon Methodist Church tonight (Saturday, April 26), starting at 7.30pm.

Tickets are £8 and available at the door.
